Painted over three months in our Kathmandu studio, this Shakyamuni Buddha follows the Karma Gadri lineage — open landscape, restrained palette, and a luminous gold halo burnished with an agate stone until it holds lamplight. Every mineral pigment is ground in-house from malachite, lapis lazuli, cinnabar and orpiment, bound with hide glue in the traditional manner.
